Fancy a new cocktail?!

Pineapple Gin Kir was undoubtedly my favourite cocktail whilst on our jolly holidays in January this year.  I’m a fairly new lover of gin plus a Kir Royale is one of my favourite cocktails so this new discovery was bound to be a hit!

Pretty simple to make so I though I’d share it with you so you can sip it and believe you are in the sunshine!

I’ve used Brecon Gin that I had for Christmas from my Dad & Deb as they this is made just around the corner from the house they have.  It won “Gold Best in Class” at the International Wines & Spirits Competition 2011.  I’m sure this cocktail will work with any other gin ;o)

Ingredients:

IMG_3815 ·    3/4 cup pineapple juice – depending on how strong you like it you might want to increase this!

·    1/2 cup gin

·    squeeze of lime juice

·    2 teaspoons crème de cassis

Method:

IMG_3821 This could NOT be any easier!!!

  • Add some ice to a glass
  • Pour over the gin and pineapple juice
  • Add in the measures of crème de cassis
  • Add a squeeze of lime – you could cheat here and use pineapple juice that already has some lime in

Drink & enjoy!!!!!!
