2015 flashed past us all by in the blink of an eye – it’s very true that as you get older the time goes quicker.
We’re all guilty of living life at 100 miles an hour, of trying to squeeze too much into the precious weekends and planning the next trip, event, meal out, meeting up with friends afar etc.
How often is it that we actually stop and take a minute to be in the moment and to enjoy the here and now?
I saw this on Facebook earlier in December and think it’s a great idea – in our busy lives we can often forget those fun memorable moments when we reflect back on the times we’ve had.
The jar won’t contain just all the huge things but also the small things that have made us smile – my first note will be sitting in our bedroom like teenagers listening to Johns old vinyls on his new record player.
We don’t have a jar at the moment so I’ll need to find an alternative vessel but I think I’ll give this a go in 2016…
