Blog Every Day in May is run by @Rosalilium and this is it’s 4th year.  It encourages you to write and publish a blog post every day for the entire month of May. It’s as simple as that…this could prove quite tricky for the next couple of days given that we’re travelling but I’m told it’s the taking part that counts!!

I was recently nominated for a Liebster Award by @afortnightaway – thank you so much for the nomination!  As I’ve been a little slack on the uptake of this, I thought I could use the questions asked as the starter of Blog Every Day in May (#BEDM) challenge which is:

Tell us something!!

What are your networking tips for new bloggers?

Get involved in Twitter chats – there are loads going on everyday about various topics.  It’s a great way to meet people, get involved and get your ‘name’ out there.

What’s your favourite book?

Hmmm…that’s a tricky one!  I love reading and can get through a book in a few days if it’s a goodie.  Ones that I have enjoyed recently were The Help and Me Before You.

How did you come up with the name of your blog?

Good question – it’s a nickname that my cousin came up with after she went through a tricky breakup…she always said my husband and I were her Wise Owls when giving her advice.

Which kind of music do you listen to?

I have a really varied taste of music – Beyonce, Coldplay, Calvin Harris, Ellie Golding, Justin Timberlake to 80’s and 90’s music!

What do you do for a living? Or are you still in school or university?

I work with my husband running two businesses – a financial services business and a virtual admin services business…both keep us very busy!

How did your family and friends react when you’ve told them about your blog?

They’ve been supportive – I’m not sure how many of them read it though!!

Is there one blog you think I should definitely know about?

Now that’s REALLY tricky, there are SO many blogs out there covering different aspects.

Have you met any other bloggers in real life?

I’ve met @loveaudrey before – she attended our wedding as a Wedding Reporter and documented the story of our wedding day beautifully. Family, friends…and my phone!

Which languages do you speak?

I’m afraid it’s only English.  Theres something about learning a new language that just doesn’t work with me and it just doesn’t stay in my head.  My brother on the other hand can speak fluent Spanish and French so it makes me look bad!!!

What do you find most challenging about blogging?

Probably getting some decent photos to include in the blogs!  (I’m travelling at the moment and it’s tricky to do these posts…hence the lack of photos…SORRY!
