Cleanser Addict

I have a confession to make – I’m a cleanser addict – there are worse things I could be addicted to.  I’m not normally one to have a hoard of products – I usually have one item, use it til it’s gone and replace.  As I put in my worst blogger post, in the world of make up I have one mascara, one foundation, one blusher, one concealer etc and the same applies in skin care…until I discovered Caroline Hirons and her world of ‘Double Cleansing’. Then the second episode came and i was having these 3 things happening at the same time again i ended Montalvo is ivermectin available over the counter in canada up being put on some other pain medications. Caudalie Cleansing Oil

I always start with this product for my first cleanse.  This contains no sulphates or minerals so is great for super sensitive skin like mine.  It completely melts away my make up – I simply put two pumps into my palms and then gently massage into my face and if I’m wearing make up,  you can see it start to slide off.  I then rinse off using a warm flannel.  It even tackles waterproof mascara easily.  It’s a no nonsense product that does exactly as promised.

Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel

This seems to be the bloggers skincare of choice and I can definitely see why.  With Vitamins A, C & E, Omega 6, Starflower Oil, Pumpkin Enzymes, Chamomile & Rose it’s got lots of super ingredients to help all skin types.  I love how it melts away make-up leaving my skin feeling completely clean and soft.  It has a great soft smell of rose which isn’t over powering at all.  If I use this product for a few days in a row I can see a difference in my skin and it’s been helping clear up the nasty scars I have left over from acne.
£29.50 for 100ml

Pixi Double Cleanse

Caroline Hirons has worked with Pixi to launch her own double cleanse pot and I can see why it sold out straight away!  I was lucky enough to get my hands on the first batch that was released.  It’s a product that I’ll reach for time and time again especially if I’ve been out in the evening and I’ve had a heavy load of makeup on.  There are two sides to the pot – a solid oil for your first cleanse and gentle cream side for your second step.  The solid oil contains evening primrose oil, vitamin E and camellia oil whilst the cream contains ingredients that help with renewal and elasticity, and helps promote collagen.

If we’re going away, I add this to my toiletry bag as it’s two products in one therefore less bottles!

£24.00 for 100ml (50ml of each product)

Emma Hardie Moringa Balm

This featured in my January favourites post and it’s still going strong.  This product can also be used as a face mask if you leave it on for around 10 minutes.  The balm melts away any left over traces of makeup.  I do sometimes use this as my first cleanse if I fancy changing it up from the Caudalie and it can handle the tricky mascara issue. It smells a little like a product you might find in a spa as it has aromatherapy oils in which are soothing and relaxing. This is another one of Caroline Hiron’s favourite products so I had to try some!!

£38.00 for 100ml

Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish

This is the product I always reach for in the mornings.  It’s thick, creamy and feels luxurious.  The ingredients make your skin feel soft, smooth and moisturised.  I find that this product doesn’t dissolve the mascara like the other products which is why I use this in the morning to wake my skin up.

£15.00 for 100ml

Products that are on my hit list include the Nude Perfect Cleanse Nourishing Oil, Body Shop Camomile Cleansing Butter, Tata Harper Nourishing Oil Cleanser, Pestle & Mortar Erase & Renew

I really really need to start some sort of skin routine ha!
It’s something I’ve never really took much notice of or bought but as I’ve just turned 27 [eek] I think it’s time I started taking more of an interest in skin care products!

I really want to try out the pixi range, the double cleanser sounds like a dream!

I’m so bad because I can’t stop myself buying cleansers that look amazing and then never using them!! I literally have 4 sat on my dressing table at the moment and I’m really trying to make myself pick them up and use them again but I always make excuses about not having enough time.

I’ll be so annoyed at myself if I end up having bad skin when I’m older from not taking care of it!

I love the look of the Pixi range and I’ve been desperate to try Oskia’s cleansers for the longest time too – i think you’ve sparked some motivation in me to get through the ones I have already! xo

I feel like a bad blogger because I’ve never tried the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish! I’ve loved The Body Shop Camomile Butter in the past but my fave cleanser right now is the Pixi Mud Cleanser!

Totally feel you, cleansers are the skin care product I hoard the most! Absolutely love all of these cleansers, although I’ve gone off Emma Hardie a bit since I fell for the Pixi x Caroline Hirons Double Cleanse.
