As many of you will know, JB is intolerant to cows milk. This can sometimes make the search for sweet treats quite tricky. The lovely gang at the Vegan Crowd offered me a discount code to try one of their bundle boxes. I made the executive decision to go with the Snack Box Bundle which is sold at £20 (plus P&P).
Our box was delivered REALLY quickly and I was really surprised at just how many goodies were crammed in. Needless to say, all packaging used is recycled and is recyclable (that’s a mouth full!). It’s taken me a while to write this post as we wanted to try as many products as we could before reporting back.
I’m not going to review every.single.product as we’ll be here for a month of Sundays. You’ll just have to order yourself a box!
First thing we did was crack open the Doves Farm Cookies. These are gluten, egg, milk, soya and peanut free. The first thing that struck me was the incredible lemony smell from the packet! These cookies are crumbly, light and crisp..and excellent dunked in cuppa!
JB wasn’t so impressed with the Peakz chocolate orange squares. Essentially a shredded wheat dipped into a chocolate orange – frankly what’s not to like!
I didn’t get a look in (or a photo opportunity) of the Squirrel Sisters chocolate brownie. I’m told it was delicious…
One thing I’ve no idea what to do with is the powdered coconut milk so if anyone has any suggestions I’m open to them.
The cheapest bundle that the Vegan Crowd offer do is a miniature selection box which comes in at £5 and looks to stuffed to the brim!. You can also purchase each product individually – great if want to try several different things. The Vegan Crowd also offer gluten free AND dairy free so it really does cater for all.
