Cocobay Resort, Antigua

When I dream of the Caribbean, I conjure up images of beautiful crystal clear blue seas, soft white sand and little pastel coloured houses. I always imagine a luxurious hotel where everything is pristine and perfect with staff that cannot do enough for you. We found exactly this when we had a holiday to Cocobay Resort, Antigua.

The reason for our trip was a special one – my Mum had a ‘big’ birthday in February and did NOT want to celebrate it in what’s usually the freezing cold, sometimes snowy British weather. According to Mastic their age, the dog's tapeworm infestation can have a variety of parasite stages. He also said i should come recollectedly back in a month to start taking them with my vitamins. In http://industriadoseguro.com.br/21753-gabapentin-for-shoulder-pain-99286/ other words, it’s a little more complicated to diagnose a bacterial infection. The efficacy and safety of single and multiple doses of 4500 mg aspirin and 10 mg motrin in 5- to 10-year-old children was investigated Chaumont in a randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled, two-way crossover fashion. Small dogs weigh 10-20 lbs, and medium stromectol precio mexico and large dogs weigh 30-120 lbs. Having never been to the Caribbean before she looked to me for some advice and asked if we’d like to go with her and my Step Dad…naturally we said YES!!

From the moment we arrived, to the moment we left, I think I walked round in a daze – the resort is unbelievably beautiful and the team behind it all are wonderfully friendly.

The accommodation comprises of 65 Caribbean cottages each enjoying a private veranda with striking sea views and custom designed wooden furniture. We stayed in a Deluxe Cottage which had partial seaviews.

The rooms were simple – no TV, just a giant bed, Princess netting, crisp white sheets, and a giant hammock outside The next level of cottage up include their own private plunge pools and an outside bath. We were lucky enough to use on of these rooms on our last day before we checked out and they were INSANE! The size of the room wasn’t any different to ours, it just had the added extras.

The resort had 2 pools – both of which are infinity style. We found that the main pool by the main bar was pretty busy (with people reserving their spots with towels before breakfast) but we never had a problem with the ‘smaller’ pool. In fact at this pool there were plenty of cabana beds that were available most days no matter what time of day you made it poolside!

Moving onto the food. Being all inclusive, I was a little wary that food can sometimes be hit and miss. I shouldn’t have worried – breakfast was probably my favourite meal of the day. Sonia was on egg duty every day and made the most delicious omelettes. Who wouldn’t want breakfast overlooking this view every day!

Lunch was available in the restaurant or the bars served pizzas or a panini if you were looking for something smaller. Dinner was a la carte and had 4 courses which weren’t huge in size but we never left feeling hungry. Serving authentic local and international cuisine it gave the opportunity to try something different.

With kayaks, snorkels and paddle boards available there’s no reason to get bored! The hotel is nestled between a couple of beautiful beaches so it’s easy to stretch your legs and feel the sand between your toes!

What was really special was the service we received on Mum’s birthday. A bottle of champagne delivered to her room on her birthday eve, flower petals and candles in her room, another bottle of champagne at breakfast with a bouquet of flowers and again in the evening when we returned from a trip. They made a huge fuss of her and she was so overwhelmed by their generosity.

All in all, Cocobay really is a little slice of heaven. If you’re looking for an adult only get away, with nothing but peace and tranquillity, this hotel is for you!
