Project 3000 – Months 8 – 10

It’s #Project3000 update time! As you’ll have read in my previous posts, the concept is simple -the average home has approximately 300,000 single items in (crazy, right?!). The idea is that you get rid of 1% of that total – being 3000.

We’ve already cleared out 716 items which I’m pretty pleased with. I thought we lived in a relatively clutter free home!

Months 8-10 have been pretty hectic both for work and home life so decluttering hasn’t been the top of my agenda. And, in his mind, Greenwood ivermectin for dogs buy online nothing is so good as a new and interesting invention. Here you can find a new community to.the ivomec system is made for the management disposingly and control of all aspects of the agricultural, industrial and commercial operations of the company.the company is based on the traditional values of the management, business. It is so easy to use that it takes just a Werribee ivexterm amazon few minutes to kill the nasty pests. Stromectol is also a common name for the stromectol 12mg uk triterpene glycoside stromones a and b found in red clover and the seeds of the common foxglove. I haven’t focused on one particular area either so have jumped from room to room.

I did do another wardrobe clear out and tackled my gym wear drawer. Stuffed to the brim with clothes but I only ever wear the same few items so 10 pieces went to charity. I also got rid of 3 dresses, 1 jacket, 1 coat and 1 pair of jeans.

The kitchen had a small declutter – partly because I was cleaning the fridge out and a shelf collapsed in the larder which meant I had to sort things out! 6 out of date spices, 5 out of date sauces, plus a handful of other bits and bobs also left the building.

I’ve still been pretty good on the beauty front and haven’t made too many purchases – I’m only replacing items that I’m certain I don’t have another of. Going away for a week also meant that I used another 10 sachets of samples and I’m only down to a small handful now which I’ll probably just use up so that they are gone as well. A total of 37 items were used up in the last 3 months – crazy!

Despite have a huge clear out of the office earlier in the year, it was starting to feel messy again. I connected with 45 people on LinkedIn so I could recycle their business cards. I found 6 notebooks that I’d used but had nothing in of interest, there were 45 random bits of paperwork on my tray that I scanned and shredded (perhaps I should get rid of the tray to stop it becoming a place to hoard items!). I also went through a bag full of flyers that I’d collected at a conference back in July that had been sat under my desk.

With various other bits and pieces that have been lying around, our total has managed to creep over 100 items again without me really making a conscious effort for the last 3 months. We’re SO far off the 3000 item goal but it feels great to have less ‘stuff’ in the house. We haven’t missed anything that I’ve decluttered either.

Month 1 total – 145

Month 2 & 3 total – 240

Month 4 & 5 total – 220

Month 6 & 7 total – 111

Month 8, 9 & 10 total – 187

Overall total – 903

Luckily my husband and I are the same when it comes to clutter. We try and only live with the things we really need.

That is absolutely nuts! I had no idea we owned so much ‘stuff’. I’m hoping to move house soon so that will be a good opportunity to do a deep declutter
