Travel is a huge part of our lives (as you’ll no doubt already know). With all travel plans put on hold for 2020, I’ve been looking at our memories. I thought I’d take part in the #travellinkup and travel the world by plates of food that we’ve had over the time.

When we lived in Spain for 6 weeks back in 2016, we found an amazing little restaurant called Cala Bandida tucked away Javea. The staff barely spoke English and we barely spoke Spanish but the atmosphere, the view and the food were just incredible.
I’d have to choose a small selection of tapas as a starter – being careful not to over order which is what we normally do with tapas! From memory they did an amazing little burrata salad with red onion, sweet potato, pesto and rocket.
It’s got to be a pizza from Italy for the main course! I’ve been fortunate to travel to Italy 5 times now including Rome and Venice. There is nothing better than proper Italian pizza…washed down with a cold glass of Italian white wine or Prosecco!
There were a few contenders for pudding but going over old photos I remembered the incredible buffet at the Wynn in Las Vegas when we went in 2018. With so many different desserts you’d have plenty of choice! There was even desserts served at breakfast – what’s not to love!
