We’ve been married for almost 3 years now – I’m SO glad I don’t have to go through the wows of first dates, what to wear crisis’s and will I hear from them again stresses.
Even though we work together and live together (obviously) we realised recently that we don’t actually a lot of quality time together – having dinner on our own, or going to Bath for the afternoon or just going to get tea and cake somewhere despite it being incredibly easy for us to do so given that we don’t have any small children that need babysitters etc.
Very often at the weekend’s we’re seeing friends or family and this might include going out for food, drinks or having people over for takeaway (we eat a lot when we see people it looks like!)
I’m cheating a little with today’s post as I’ve previously written about the Date Night Cookbook a few months back and am still a huge lover of all Rebecca’s recipes.
So if you’re looking for date night ideas that’s not going to break the bank, I really recommend getting this book (& it’s less than a tenner at the mo on Amazon)

I love it…apparently there’s another coming out!
Oh I like the idea of the book. Our theme is usually beer, curry and TV!
It is hard to set apart time for just connecting and not having others around or sitting with electronics!
