Every day is a Good Day!

The new kid on the cafe block in Bath is Good Day Cafe. Found on the corner of Upper Borough Walls and New Bond St Place, it’s a super little cafe that will brighten any coffee, lunch or cake break!

Owner Steph has installed a great ethos within both the staff and brand. They care about everyone and treat them with kindness and respect. By going the the extra mile, they make sure things are done properly. They help each other out and most importantly, they have a good time!

I had an early meeting in Bath so decided to stop here after to wind down and decompress. I made it in time to sample the breakfast menu.

With a good offering including a full English or veggie breakfast, a simple bacon or sausage roll to toasted banana bread and granola. Naturally I went with the avocado toast which came with a dash of chilli. Served on toasted sourdough with a handful of rocket, you couldn’t fault it.

Everyone knows I’m a good old cup of tea kind of girl however I was persuaded to try one of their special super lattes. It’s a mug of frothy warm milk with a shot of superfood – either turmeric or beetroot or matcha. Unsure what to try I went for beetroot…mainly for the potent pink colour! Steph reassured me that it would be a hit, and she wasn’t wrong! Difficult to describe but it was sweet with no overpowering taste of beetroot. I can quite believe people order these just for the ‘gram!!

The girls did try to tempt me with a slice of cake afterwards. There was loads of tempting offerings including Snickerdoodles. Unfortunately I was so full up I couldn’t quite fit it in…so I’ll just have to go back at some point for another sitting!

With plenty of Vegan options there’s something for everyone at Good Day cafe!
