Another month has raced past us and we’re yet to see much of the summer – this rainy, chilly weather is frankly a little boring now. I really hope the sun makes more of an appearance this month!!
My favourite purchases this month are…
Skincare – Oskia Renaissance Cleansing
You may have read in my Merry May Favourites that I tried the Oskia Renaissance Mask and absolutely fell in love with it. I decided that this month I’d give their Renaissance Cleansing Gel a try and haven’t regretted it. Strong enough to melt away the day’s makeup but gentle enough not to break my skin out. Again, it left my skin feeling super soft and smooth – I can also see a difference with some scarring I’ve got thanks to bad skin.
I don’t normally buy a ton of makeup, my Worst Blogger post will tell you that I literally only have one of everything (apart from lipstick…but I still probably only have 3 or 4 on rotation). This month a new product has made an appearance…
Clarins Mascara Wonder Perfect – Mascara 3 in 1 01 Black – Clarins is my “go-to” for skincare normally so whilst I was stocking up on old lady night cream, I thought I’d try a mascara. I haven’t been disappointed! The mascara delivers maximum length, curl and volume without smudging everywhere – hayfever has been driving me potty and I’m forever itching my eyes but this stays put!
Dune Cliopatra Shoes: I’ve been swooning over these shoes for quite a long time now especially after seeing them on @LydiaEmillen and @inthefrow, however couldn’t afford the £600 price tag that comes with Valentino shoes – bummer! SO I found these pretty good dupes in Dune at a fraction of the price at £80. They’ve been worn with jeans and with a dress so they can be dressed up or down. I don’t wear heels that often now that I’m working at home – in the years I worked in an office, I was quite the pro at running down corridors in a 4 inch heel!
Purse: this little Michael Kors purse fell into my possession last week. I had a lovely handbag from Peony & Moore for my birthday but my “every day” purse is enormous and won’t fit in. I had a fake Mulberry purse for a while but this little beaut was in the sale in House of Fraser so I couldn’t resist! Unfortunately I can’t find it on the website as they must have sold out.
Home – White Company Seychelles Candle
Who doesn’t love a candle?! This White Company Seychelles Candle is beautiful – the only way I can think to describe is it – summer! The website describe it slight more in depth as ‘fresh bergamot, bright orange and rich amber with warming notes of exotic coconut, vanilla and almond’. With all this rubbish weather we’re having, I think this is literally the closest thing we’ll get to summer at the moment.
What have been your favourite things in June?!
