Roman Summer

Last week I attended my first Blogger Event held by The Roman Baths in the beautifully historic city of Bath.

The event was not only to launch their summer opening hours of 09.00 – 22.00 (last entry at 21.00) and experience the Roman Bath’s by torchlight but also to tell us about their exciting competition they are running between July and August.

For a chance to win, all you need to do is visit the Roman Bath’s and upload a photo via Twitter or Instagram with the hashtag #RomanSummer and they will post their favourites onto their website.

There will be Weekly Winners until 2 September 2016 who will win a pair of museum Saver Tickets which allow access to the Roman Baths, Fashion Museum and the Bath and Victoria Art Gallery.

On 2 September, they will pick their overall favourite photo who will win £50 worth of Lovetoshop vouchers plus a Thermae Bath Spa voucher for 2 plus a champagne afternoon tea for two in the Pump Rooms.

I’m ashamed to say that I’ve only ever been to the Roman Baths for a Christmas Party and have never looked round properly despite it being only 30 minutes from where I live. It was really interesting to visit, especially at dusk when there wasn’t too many people around. We even managed to try some of the spa water…an interesting taste I have to say!!!

Tickets are £15.50 for an adult and £9.50 for a child (you can get a family ticket for £44).
