Another milestone!

October has seen our second business, Boatman Admin Services reach it’s first birthday.  We’ve helped quite a few people in our first year, plus had a logo redesign.  Our website is being revamped

You might not be aware of what it is as I don’t really talk about it on the blog so I thought I’d give you an insight into what we do.

Virtual Admin Assistance

Over the last year we’ve helped several local independent businesses sort their admin requirements out.  When you run your own business, it can be really busy and stressful – you want to be out there doing the ‘thing’ that earns you the money to pay the bills but in the background there can be a mountain of admin / paperwork that’s backing up.

I’ve worked on organising staff contracts, writing a staff handbook, looking at Health & Safety policies, entering client data in databases, basic accounts work, sorting out an office ready for a move – the list goes on!

The work can be done remotely or from the client’s office so it’s super flexible for everyone involved.

Social Media & Content Writing

On top of running your own business, there’s also the added pressure of getting your name out there and promoting yourself on social media.  We can help with the running of your Twitter or Facebook account, writing content to go onto your website and / or your blog.

Will Writing & Estate Planning

 

The final string to our bow is the Will Writing and Estate Planning.

Having a Will makes it much easier for your family or friends to sort everything out when you die – without a Will the process can be more time consuming and stressful.

If you’ve recently had a child, you might want to think about amending your Will so that they are included.

Estate Planning is not just for ‘wealthy people’.  We can help with putting in place Lasting Power of Attorneys so that if you become ill and are unable to make decisions for yourself in regard to your health OR your wealth someone can do this for you.
