It’s that time of the month again! Ok, so I’m a little bit early with this month’s but I’ve got a busy week coming up so wanted to get this out sooner rather than later.
My favourite things this month include…
Candles
Two candles were purchased this month! One was sent to me from Chris at Christopher Scents in Lime Basil and Manderin – you can read my full review here.
The second candle is an Ecoya Mini Madison in Sweet Pea & Jasmine. This amazing find bought back lots of memories – this candle was originally purchased during our honeymoon in Australia and I remember only burning it back home for a couple of hours at a time as I didn’t want it to run out! I found this in John Lewis and couldn’t resist!
Real Techniques Brush & Cleaning Kit
I’m really not very good when it comes to keeping my make up brushes clean – I don’t think I clean them as often as I should…in fact I KNOW I don’t! I needed to replace my Expert Face Brush* after some 4 years with my old one and when I saw the Cleansing Palette* was half price I snapped it up thinking it would be a great encouragement. Time will tell I guess!
Freakshakes!!
This DEFINITELY had to be included in this month’s favourites. We took Olivia to the Beehive Cafe in Downend, Bristol at the start of the summer holidays – you can read the full review here. I’m having a ‘Sibling Weekend’ away with my brother and sister in a couple of weeks and they’ve already requested we go here!
Gym Gear
We had a trip to the Designer Outlet Shopping Centre in Swindon this month and I had a bit of a splurge in the Nike shop…new trainers, capris and sports bra. All were really mega reduced (both the sports bra and capris were £40 down to £15) and this bundle cost approx £70.
